About Our Scholarship Program:

The Chambersburg Area Education Foundation has awarded over $2 million dollars in scholarships to CASD students for higher education and training. The 2024-2025 application process will be conducted online using our Foundation Universal Application, which saves a great deal of time and prevents duplication of effort. Once students complete the CAEF Universal Application, all information will populate to other individual applications, as needed. There are two categories of CAEF Foundation scholarships, but only one requires completion of an application.

Donors:

If you are interested in providing a scholarship this year, it is not too late! Please contact us at 717-552-6492 to discuss how we can establish an award to honor or remember your loved one, highlight a specific career or interest, or acknowledge student academic achievement.

Students:

The application window for our 2024-2025 scholarship process will open on December 6th. Please note that the deadline is March 21st, 2025. Please begin with our Foundation Universal Application. Scholarships are awarded based on a variety of criteria such as GPA, field of study, financial need, challenges overcome, SAT/ACT scores, school, community service or extracurricular activity participation and vary from scholarship to scholarship.

Keep in mind that you will need the following things to participate in this process:
* A resume (which you will upload - .pdf file)
* Complete the FAFSA and upload supporting documentation (.pdf)
* Formal acceptance at an accredited institution of advanced training or higher learning

Please register using the student name and not the parent name. Only one CAEF Scholarship Universal Application is allowed per student. Students may begin to complete the application, save it, and return later to compete before the deadline. Some scholarships have additional requirements and request certification before submitting. Many new scholarships will be added to the list below as details are confirmed, so please check back often.

Complete the CAEF Scholarship Universal Application here.

Simply click the hyperlink below to be directed to each of the applications for a specific scholarship. Once you have completed the CAEF Scholarship Univeral Application (above), your information will move with you through the process so there is no need to re-enter duplicate information or request multiple transcripts.

The following named scholarships are application-based and are organized by area of study or by donor type. Applicants should carefully read the online application, noting in particular the scholarship criteria and the essay questions, which may differ from scholarship to scholarship.
